For Employers
Site functionality for employers includes:

  • a job posting tool that allows them to add/edit/delete job postings using online forms
  • an employer profile/settings area that allows them to:
    • add/update information about their organization including their contact information
    • update their password/login information
    • upload their logo
    • allow them the option of keeping their company name and/or contact information private in the job posting
    • select whether they'd like to receive automatic email notification of new résumé postings via an email agent
  • a search tool that allows them to search job seekers profiles and résumés as well as respond to job seekers

When employers post jobs they can pay via credit card through a secure SSL payment gateway or wait for an invoice to be automatically generated and emailed to them.

 

For Job Seekers
Site functionality for job seekers includes:

  • an easy to use registration form
  • a résumé posting tool that allows them to add/edit/delete their résumé using online forms
  • a job seeker profile/settings area that will allow them to:
    • add/update information about themselves including their contact information
    • update their password/login information
    • select whether they'd like to receive automatic email notification of new job postings via an email agent
  • a search tool that allows them to search and browse job postings and apply for jobs online by attaching their résumé
  • a cover letter tool that allows job seekers to create default cover letters and attach them during the application process
  • a self assessment or skills analysis tool that allows them to answer a set of questions about their skills
  • an online discussion forum for threaded messages
  • a resources area to view other website links

For the Website Administrator
Site functionality for the website administrator includes:

  • a member manager tool that allows them to search/view/add/update/delete and approve/unapprove any job seeker or employer on the site
  • a job manager tool that allows them to search/view/add/update/delete and approve/unapprove any job postings on the site
  • a document/news manager tool that allows them to search/view/add/update/delete any news items and set posting, archive, and expiry dates for content
  • an events manager tool which allows them to search/view/add/update/delete any events
  • a stats manager that allows the website administrator to generate reports on new registrations, site traffic, job view numbers, résumé view numbers, job searches, and résumé searches
  • an e-newsletter manager that allows the administrator to send emails to employers and job seekers
